Garnier - Moisture Match

Heyy guys!
First things first, I want to apologize for not updating my blog much, this is because my A-Level exams are coming up and I'm trying to keep up with work, so just to let you know that my posts won't be as regular, but I'll try and upload every week!

Okay on with the review!:)

I went online here in search of a new moisturizer and found that Garnier were giving out free samples of their new moisturizer (click the link, they're still giving them out) so I thought why not?
In my free sample I got the normal skin sample which is extremely lightweight and gives off an oil-free texture, with a slightly 'tanish' glow, it also left my skin feeling great!
As well as the normal skin, I got the dull skin sample which woke my skin up, oil-free. As well as this I found that it absorbed quickly into my skin, but lasted all day with a smooth finish.
Finally, the last sample was the normal/dry skin sample in which came off non-greasy and was quickly absorbing leaving my face smooth all day.

Overall, these moisturizer's really worked well with my skin and I'd recommend them to anyone in search of a new moisturizer.
I hoped this helped!
Thank you

Models Own Fruit Pastel Nail Collection: Blueberry Muffin

I'm never too sure when it comes to scented nail varnishes whether they'll be any good or not, but the Models Own Fruit Pastel collection is beautiful!

There are five different colours and scents to choose from, these include Apple Pie, Grape Juice, Strawberry Pie, Blueberry Muffin and finally Banana Split. Each bottle comes with their very own retro 'scratch n' sniff' sticker to indulge you in the smells the nail varnishes will come in, making it simply impossible to say no.

When applying you're needed to use at least two coats to get the opaque look, as only one coat makes it look streaky or uneven. Once dried it does give off a vague sweet blueberry scent, not a strong smell, but to be honest just the colour it is stands out to me more.

Each bottle is £5 which I find to be a reasonable price.

Overall, I love this nail varnish collection as the pastels are perfect for the spring time! Also, I found that this colour looked amazing on my toe nails! So when wearing sandals or heels with an open toe, these nail varnishes will look stunning! I highly recommend this nail varnish if you're looking for spring/summer nail colours.

Hope you enjoyed this review & please if you have any recommendations just let me know:)
Thank you!

Lee Stafford - Shampoo, Conditioner & Treatment

I've always been curious to see if Lee Stafford's hair treatments do actually work and I've been recommended to get these in the past, so I finally bought some!
With the shampoo and conditioner, I chose the breaking hair which are meant to help with dry, damaged, brittle and broken hair. With the treatment I went for the hair growth, which is meant to improve your hairs health, volume, texture, hair loss and scalp.
When I first opened these treatments the smell is one of those smells in which you either hate or love, I didn't like it too much when it's in the bottle, but once on my hair I loved it and the smell lasts for a good couple of days (well until your next hair wash). When using the hair growth treatment, you use it in-between the shampoo and conditioner and leave it in for 5 minutes, this can add extra time onto your showers, but it's worth it! Also, after you see improvements you're only needed to use it once a week.
With the outcomes of these hair products, they're fantastic! First of all, my hair came out smooth with not knots when brushing after a towel drying, it smelled amazing and it's super soft even on the second day! (Although to wind can demolish you hair.) However, although I've seen an improvement in my hair volume and hair loss (my hair seemed to malt a lot!) I haven't quite yet seen a significant in hair grow, but then again it does take a while for hair to actually grow and I haven't used it for a long time.
The only downside is the price, they're quite on the pricey side, (not too extravagant) so if you're willing to spend a bit on hair products they're worth it.
So altogether I do recommended Lee Stafford's hair products and I hope if you do end up buying them that you like them just as much as I do!

Thank you!

realTechniques Makeup Brushes by Samantha Chapman

I've been really wanting some new makeup brushes and I've seen beauty bloggers and YouTubers' rave about this brand. so I though 'why not?'
In the top left I have the angled foundation brush, at first this brush was so soft, but as you add the foundation it begins to lack softness, but I would say is still softer than other brushes I've used in the past, when applying my foundation, it applies it fantastically, giving me full coverage and as it has an angled top, you can easily cover your nose and other 'corners'.
The top left is the powder brush. All I can say it that it is MEGA soft! Also, as it's a massive brush its just quick and simple to apply your powder.
The bottom brush is the setting brush, used for highlighters and powder. I haven't used this yet apart from touching up my powder when out and about as it's smaller than the other powder brush, meaning it's more convenient to carry round.

These brushes are normally around the £10 mark, so I think they're reasonably priced compared to other more high-end market brushes/
I highly recommend these and hope they work as well for you as they do for me & will definitely be adding more of her brushes to my small collection.

Thank you!

Bourjois 3D Effect Gloss - 03

Heyy guys! First off I just want to say sorry for not updating my blog for over a week, no excuse really apart from just being really busy and not feeling too well, but I'm back and eager to carry on! And as a sorry gift, here's an extra review (will upload again tomorrow). Enjoy!

So, I've had this gloss for a while and I finally have come round to trying it out. The first thing that stands out to me is the snazzy container compared to other plain glosses. Anyway, when applying onto your lips, the applicator is a simple brush with gives full coverage with the beautiful shimmering effect which makes your lips look fuller and more eye-catching. However, there is a couple of downsides to this gloss, one being is that I don't find that it lasts the 8 hours like it says it does one the packaging. The other downside is that this can be quite a 'sticky' gloss (especially when it's windy), but I guess most glosses are like that.
Altogether I do recommend this gloss if you're looking for one in the low budget market as I found this gloss beautiful, eye-catching and very effective, with only a couple of downsides.

I hope this helped and if you have any suggestions for products you'd wish me to review then please have a look at the 'Contact' tab. I will try and get back on track with my uploading now and will speak to you all again soon!

Thank you!!

Benefit Haul

I ordered a few things from Benefit last week and they finally arrived! In the box came the Fake Up Concealer, Hello Flawless Foundation and two free samples.

The Hello Flawless foundation comes in a container with a pump lid, which I find to be much better as it's easier to apply the foundation. When applying I found that only a small amount of it goes a long way and it gives a full coverage without a shiny look about it. Another good aspect about this foundation is that it has SPF 25 making us know that our skin will be well protected from the sun as well. After a long day the foundation was still giving a full coverage.

The Fake Up Concealer comes in an elegant lipstick like container which really grabs the eye. The concealer is really easy to apply as it's just a simple stroke underneath each eye, then using your ring finger, pat gently outward which blend it into your skin. As well as handling the creases under the eye, you can use this to refresh your skin and help hide any blemishes on your face. With this concealer, the middle section is the actual concealer which diffuses the light and smooths the skin with an outer layer for the hydrator which included Vitamin E and an apple seed extract. After a long day, my skin still looked hydrated and it still gave full coverage.

Overall, I recommend these products to anyone how is willing to spend a bit of money as they are quite expensive. but they do their job well.
